Children’s Sexual Behaviours – Workshop
Clare Kelly, Senior Advisor Behaviour, Engagement and Wellbeing for the Department for Education is offered this workshop in a safe and supportive environment to parents and carers of children and young people with disability. Clare was seeking parent and carer voices to contribute to the development of a new resource for staff and parents about “Children’s sexual behaviour”. This session was held on 20 October 2020 at the Special Education Resource Unit.
Children’s Behaviour Support – Webinar
Parents and carers of children with disability were invited to participate in a Behaviour Support webinar forum on 4 November 2020. Facilitated by Ian May, Director Disability Policy and Programs, Trinh Mai, Assistant Director, Policy and Project Implementation shared useful information about behaviour support and how families can best work with preschool and school staff to achieve agreed approaches.
