Parent Forum Webinar June 2020

Disability Policy and Programs invite you to the first Parent Forum Webinar

 “Transition in 2020 and beyond”

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) safety measures, this event was held via webinar.

The forum theme is ‘Transition in 2020 and Beyond’. The webinar provided information to parents or carers about the services and support available for children and young people with a disability.

Held on Friday 26 June 2020 participants heard about dates and processes for specialised education options, the update for year 7 to high school in 2022 and had their transition questions answered.

    Could the title of the policy use different words such as “Inclusive or Inclusion Policy and Programs” isn’t this what the policy is about, ensuring all students are included in the Department Education?

      Hi Penelope
      Thanks for your feedback, however the title Disability Policy and Programs refers to the name of our Directorate, not a specific policy. The Department’s Inclusion Policy is currently being finalised.
