Wednesday, October 30 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

| Free

This workshop will explore a range of inclusive technologies that assist students who struggle with comprehending meaningful text and to support them at various stages of the reading and writing process. Participants will learn how a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach can provide equitable access for all learners and how educators can embed this in their practice. An extensive range of inclusive technology tools will be explored during the day including the built-in accessibility features of computers and mobile devices, robust universal design software, apps and free online literacy support tools.

Information regarding accessing the Inclusive Technology Service, and its role in supporting sites to implement these technologies will also be included. Participants are encouraged to bring their devices for interactive activities during the workshop.
